2. MagicPlan Scanning - Aligning orientations for Multi-Storeys ⭐

When scanning multi-storey projects some floor levels may be scanned into MagicPlan with a different orientation e.g. see below screenshots

To ensure that the project is aligned correctly when it is exported to AccuRate, users must rotate one of the levels in MagicPlan

To do this select the floor you wish to rotate and click on rotate – a circle with a green arrow will appear in the middle of the floor plan

Rotate the floor plan by spinning it with your fingers until you reach the desired orientation

There are snap points on the cardinals but to be more precise zoom in on a wall section and align the walls with the grid lines

Check that floors are now aligned

One you are confident that the orientations match. The final step is to ensure that the marker is placed in a common point on each level. This is an object that is added on each level of the dwelling
